Top Gun Trofee 

Die Top Gun Trofee is‘n interne Pretoria Oos Takprestasie erkenning aan die skut wat die hoogste gemiddelde punte gedurende diespesifieke kalenderjaar verdien het.

Om in aanmerking te kom kan die skuts aan enigevan die volgende tabelle deelneem:

  • Vlakte (Springbok)
  • Bosveld (Blouwildebees)
  • Rooibok tabel - sonder rus
  • Rooijakkals
  • Vlakvark
  • Grootkaliber (Buffel)
  • Raadslag (.22)

‘n Skut moet ‘n minimum van 3 tellings per 5 (minimum) onderskeie oefeninge gedurende die periode vanaf Januarie tot Oktober aanteken om in aanmerking te kom vir die trofee. Elke skut se 5 hoogste gemiddelde  tellings oor die 7 oefeninge sal gebruik word om sy gemiddeld aan die einde van die jaar te bepaal. Die skut met die hoogste gemiddeld wen.

Die reëls en vereistes soos deur die SAJWV Hoofkantoor vasgestel sal geld vir die verskillende oefeninge.

Vir alle tabelle word afsonderlike drie plekke asook ‘n wisseltrofee aan die einde van die jaar toegeken.

Die Handwapen en Haelgeweer tabel sal nie in ag geneem word vir die Top Gun Trofee nie, omdat nie alle skuts die gepaste wapens het nie, maar daar sal wel erkenning gegee word aan die hoogste gemiddelde telling per elke afsonderlike tabel.

punt sal nie in berekening gebring word vir die Top GunTrofee nie, slegs vir die uitslag van die spesifieke tabel.

Sovêr moontlik sal die Top Gun Trofee oefeninge op elke takskiet aangebied word. Baanoffisiere moet ingelig word om die V-kolle wat geskiet word op die tabelle op die skuts se tellings aandui as 260.5 ens.

Reëls en regulasies aangaande skietpunte

Die reëls sal toegepas word vir alle toekennings, kompetisies asook vir alle spanne wat gekies sal word om amptelik as ’n Pretoria-Oos span deel te neem.

  • Slegs punte behaal op Pretoria-Oos en Baviaanspoort se amptelike skietdae  sowel as punte behaal op streek-intertak en nasionale vlak sal in ag geneem word vir erkenning, soos MVS, R100 000 skiet, Streek- en Presidentskiet.
  • Punte verkry by Baviaanspoort moet in die skut se logboek aangebring word en geteken word deur die betrokke baanoffisier en dan deurgestuur word na Pretoria-Oos. Indien punte nie verskyn nie kan dit onder die aandag van die komitee gebring word.
  • Geen punt by ‘n ander tak se skietdae sal in ag geneem word nie. Slegs Pretoria-Oos en Baviaanspoort takskiet punte sal in ag geneem word vir die Top Gun Trofee, interne prysuitdeling en Pta Oos skietspanne.
  • Uitsonderings kan slegs gemaak word vir lede van hoofkantoor wat as verteenwoordigers optree by ander takke en nie by die maandelikse skietdae van die spesifiek twee takke kan wees nie.
Intertak skietspan keuring

Spanne vir intertak sal gekies word volgens die ranglys van die Vlakte en Bosveld tabelle asook met ’n span samestelling van ervaring en leierskap. As daar gekyk word na die laaste paar jare se resultate van kompetisies, was dit duidelik dat spanne wat ervare  skuts insluit beter presteer op nasionale vlak. Daar sal ook gekyk word na prestasies behaal in spanverband sowel as individuele prestasies op streek- en nasionale kompetisies. Daar sal ‘n poging aangewend word om hoogs kompeterende spanne saam te stel asook om opkomende skuts op streekvlak blootstelling te gee.

Indien die spanne nie vol is nie sal die skuts wat twee tellings het, se hoogste gemiddeld gebruik word om die spanne op te vul.

Branch Shooting Activities

Registration starts from 07:00 and the Official opening is at 07:45.

Our club shooting practice will consist of the following activities:

The sighting range will be open and you will be able to participate in the standard SAHGCA shooting tables. The shotgun table will be available every other month. Check our calendar for information on this.

In addition to this there will be a programme for the junior members to participate in. This will include air gun and kettie shooting as well as a range of other interesting activities. Please keep an eye on the calendar for more information.

A special women’s shooting day with assistance and training will take place every three months.

The Amajuba Kettie, handgun and shotgun tables will alternatively be shot every third month. Please see the calendar for more details.

Cooldrinks, coffee, tea and water will be available on shooting days but please bring your own food.

General Equipment

The sighting range is  very popular and we recommend that you pack a shooting matt and a suitable gun rest. Sighting targets will be available for purchage at registrations. You are also welcome to bring your own.

Please ensure that you have the correct equipment for the different shooting disciplines. Allowed shooting aides is descriped in the shooting tables specifications. (Shooting equipment can be purchased from Hennie de Jager please phone him on 082 545 4026.)

The rule of thumb is 9 rounds per shooting exercise. Please bring enough ammunition for all the exercises you would like to participate in.

Safety Equipment and Rules

It is required by the SAPD that all members make use of safety equipment when they participate in shooting exercises. Please ensure that you and your family members make use of ear protection and shooting glasses at all times.

General Safety Rules
  • The official opening of the day will take place at 07:45 - please ensure that you attend the safety briefing.
  • All people attending the shooting practice (including bystanders) must sign the indemnity register and familiarize themselves with the content.
  • Firearms (including handguns) must be kept in a closed rifle bag or case at all times. Firearms may only be removed from bags on the firing line and only after the command to do so is given by the acting range officer.
  • A red flag must be inserted into the action to indicate that the firearm is safe, or alternatively the bolt must be removed from the action. Red flags can be purchased at the registration point.
  • All persons must adhere to the commands of the range officers at all times.
  • No alcohol is allowed on the shooting range.
  • No people under the influence of alcohol will be allowed access to the shooting range.
  • The speed limit on the rage is 20km/h.
